Catch it up!

Back by popular demand - Updated photos of Teagan! She is almost 21 months old now. Teagan started walking at 19 months. Thank God! Oddly it seems she was waiting until she had mastered the skill before attempting it. She has a little swagger at times which is hilarious.
She is still getting physical therapy, but not for much longer. She is gifted in the language dept. She sings several songs - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Ba Ba Black sheep, Row row row your boat, Old McDonald, Pop Goes the Weasel, Wheels on the Bus, and she knows her ABC's. L-M-N-O is a little blurry, but kicks it all the way to Z! She even signs a little when saying the last part of the song - "Now I know..."
Currently Teagan feels substituting the word Daddy is acceptable if you don't want to say a hard word like juice or birthday. She basically picks up a new word every day. Today's word was clap, yesterday's was walk. It's amazing to watch her learn.

Summer Vacation at the Beach

Shots of Teagan at Long Beach Island in NJ in July. Teagan loved eating the sand surprisingly. She also ate her first cracker at the beach house. Teagan did experience the face plant into the sand which she did not enjoy. She loved the wind on the beach the best. It was quite funny to see her light up everytime she felt the wind on her face. She enjoyed playing with her cousins and splashing in the baby pool.

Party on Little Ones

Second party with Jake and my mom's side of the family. Teagan ate ice cream this time. Uncle Jay even gave her a little brain freeze with a big bite. Awww, her first one.
Teagan loves cats and books or Gaaat and gook as Teagan says.
She is finally crawling normally. She graduated from her army crawl about 2 weeks after her b-day. She is starting to pull up now, so we are very optomistic she will be walking soon. Teagie is also eating finger foods very well now. She loves to feed herself so she is gaining a little more weight now too. She was hanging steady for the last 5 months. So she still faces the back of the car, but at about 18lbs now she'll be switching around soon enough.

Princess party

Can't forget the princess themed party with Nana and Grandpa!

First Car at Party #1

Teagan was not into the cake. Jake on the otherhand couldn't get enough. Don't eat the plate buddy!

Teagan now owns her first car. My dad's tradition is to buy each grandkid a car on their first birthday. So here is the line up of cars so far. No one tell Teagan they just raised the age to get a driver's license in MD to age 18!
Teagan did a face plant into the steering wheel in the first shot. Wasn't really into bearing weight on her legs at that point, so she hit with full force.

April to June - 9 months old already

A cookout at Juan & Steph's turned out to be very educational for Tony and Lauren who are expecting in September. Juan attempted to teach Tony how to change a diaper and feed Julia.

Onto Austin's 3rd Birthday party in late April. Lots of kiddies, lots of fun.

Teagan's cousin Juliette's First Communion in New Jersey in April.

Teagan's cousin Nick's 5th birthday party the next day!

Teagan's big girl Duck Tubby. She loves it in and out of the bath.

Teagan's first wedding in Ohio in May. Chris's cousin Brian married a fabulous gal named Andrea.

Cooking out at Grandmom's house in May.

First trip to the "Maryland Zoo" with the cousins. It will always be the Baltimore Zoo to the natives.
Up in NJ for Brianne's 8th grade graduation and Confirmation. Oops, no pics of Brianne.

Testing out Brooke's graduation gift. Looks fit for college after the test run.

Celebrating high school graduation and Brooke's B-day in early June.

Our little angel is such a big girl now. Teagan says mama and dada and seems to know who it's referring to. She says these words along with agaaa, and bababa. She is very ticklish now on her sides and her thighs. It's so cute to hear her laugh. She's been fussy a lot recently because she is teething. One tooth is through now, but the rest are being buggers. Her cousin Jake has almost 7 teeth now! Teagan is not crawling yet, no interest really. It appears she will be tapping her linguistic skills first. So Jake will crawl around and Teagan will talk his ear off.
Teagan doesn't much care for food with textures yet other than fruit. We'll keep trying. She is currently a big fan of drinking out of cups and water bottles. She seems to hate bottles now. She also loves pulling the hair of her cats. Cole is very tolerate, Sedona stays clear. Hope you enjoyed the update, not sure when the next one will pop up. Momma is going into private practice so free time will only become more infrequent.
